The Wantaim Whale Watching start in early September each year and run until the mid November.

Departures are 09.00 am to 11.00 am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday until mid November. 

Wantaim is a brand new 14 meter Naiad RIB design known as the Four Wheel Drive of the sea. The name of the boat is derived from Papua New Guinea where 'Wantaim' means “everyone together”.

The vessel was built to 2C AMSA survey and therefore is allowed to circumnavigate the whole of Rottnest Island. She is powered by quad Yamaha F350a Out boards, and yes, she is fast and stable.
