Orion
Orion is unquestionably the most sophisticated and luxurious ship to cruise the North West passage of the Kimberley coast, but her journeys do not cease there. From the rugged beauty of the Buccaneer Archipelago, to South East Asia and sub Antarctica, a huge amount of thought has gone into her destinations, where discovery is all part of the thrill she offers: to give access to the inaccessible, all in 5-star luxury.
Purpose built in 2003, Orion is at the pinnacle of ocean adventuring. She combines the best and latest in design with maritime and environmental technology, comfort and casual elegance. From the ice-strengthened hull to the chilled champagne and superb cuisine, this is the finest in expedition cruising.
Vessels Features
This is the latest in the quest to achieve perfection where all of Orion's staterooms/suites feature ocean views and offer internet access, flat-screen TV, DVD/CD players, a choice of twin and queen-sized beds, a sitting area and marble bathrooms. All in all, Orion hosts 31 Suites and 22 Staterooms and can rightfully claim her luxury status as the best in ocean adventuring, where no expense has been spared in the quality of furnishings and fittings.
Orion is also a treasure trove of recreational facilities and on-board amenities where there's a health spa (with gymnasium), sauna, sun deck Jacuzzi and stern marina platform. She even has a 90-seat theatre where guests can enjoy informative and entertaining presentations made by their knowledgeable expedition team members.

Best Features
rion is like a luxury floating hotel teeming with surprises. It's the nuances that make the difference: the Grohe tapware, Lanvin toiletries, fluffy towels and robes; 24-hour complementary room service; observation deck with 270 degree views. The list is seemingly endless and a cut above its Kimberley competition, if for no other reason than by the destinations it goes to. Orion takes luxury to the wilderness with an incredible cross-range of destinations and experiences. Daily excursions are breathtaking and exhilarating. The guides and speakers handpicked for their outstanding local knowledge. Even the food is world class, with signature menus designed by Sydney's Serge Danserau of 'Bathers Pavillion' fame. Under the gloss of all the luxury tags, there is one distinctive feature Orion should be proud of. You may be surrounded with opulence, but life on board is distinctly relaxed whilst you touch the fringes of the earth's great wildernesses.
