BlueSun2 was formed in 2004 as a specialist sales and marketing company that drew upon 20 years of international experience in travel, entertainment and media.

It quickly found a niche in the West Australian charter boat industry when it developed the Rowley Shoals and luxury Kimberley cruise program for a new 24-metre luxury vessel.

The outcome was outstanding, propelling BlueSun2 to the top of its field in Western Australia.

Seven years later, BlueSun2 is now ranked as one of Australia’s foremost experts on the charter boat industry, boasting a ‘fleet’ of more than 75 vessels. BlueSun2 is now recognised across the country for its cutting-edge sales and marketing techniques and its pioneering approach to the charter boat industry. More importantly, it has consistently produced revenue for its clients.

Today, BlueSun2 offers a wide range of services beyond its booking agency role:

The People

Kevin, Founder & Managing Director
 
Kevin has an extensive international background in travel, entertainment and media and has a client list that reads like a Who’s Who of celebrities and royalty. He has overseen 40 tours in 25 countries for the live music industry; ran the meeting management unit for IATA; served as a media consultant to broadcast and cable television companies; been an editor of two magazines and a freelance newspaper reporter; acted as a media advisor and consultant to government agencies in seven countries; managed and staged conferences and conventions for such international clients as the World Bank, IMF and SEC.

Kevin is the Chairman of the ‘Charter Boat Initiative’, an industry organisation that represents the vested interests of charter boat operators in Western Australia.

Matt, Director of Sales & Marketing

Matt has a 12-year grounding in the hospitality industry and to his credit has served PM’s, consular generals and presidents from around the globe. He spent six years as a senior events and marketing manager for one of Perth’s most prestigious catering and events companies.

Matt is a planning and logistics specialist and an expert on the charter boat industry. He is a co-founder of the ‘Charter Boat Initiative’ of Western Australia.
